Which is better for a sample: express, air DDP or small-parcel DDP?
Start with the goods description, actual weight, carton dimensions and destination ZIP code. Express can suit urgent courier-eligible parcels; air DDP suits eligible air shipments with an agreed duty and delivery scope; small-parcel DDP serves eligible lighter parcels from 0.5 kg. We compare chargeable weight, acceptance and the final handover before recommending a route.
Which US taxes and fees does the duty-paid quote include?
The written quote identifies whether US import duty, applicable taxes, customs fees and delivery extras are included or payable separately for the selected channel. We confirm the importer and payment responsibility before booking.
Why is my UPS or FedEx tracking number not updating during DDP transit?
On a consolidated DDP route, the international leg, customs clearance and local courier handover are separate stages. A UPS or FedEx label may be created before the parcel reaches that carrier, so its public scans may start only after clearance and physical handover. A label alone does not show the whole journey.
How can I check progress before the US courier takes over?
Contact BEXSTAR with your shipment reference. We can ask the booked route operator for the latest available milestone, such as departure, arrival, customs review or release, and explain what has and has not been confirmed. Update frequency depends on the route; we do not present a last-mile carrier label as live end-to-end tracking.
What is an Amazon FIST carrier?
FIST is Amazon’s FBA Inbound Shipment Tracking solution. Amazon lists eligible carriers and supported features. When using an eligible carrier, provide the correct FBA shipment ID and confirm that the booked service supports the tracking features you need.
Does FIST guarantee delivery or FBA receiving?
No. Tracking visibility does not guarantee a delivery date, appointment, fulfillment-center acceptance or receiving time. These depend on the shipment, carrier service and Amazon’s receiving operations.
Can you deliver to a non-Amazon address?
Yes, for eligible business, third-party warehouse and residential destinations. We check the full address, access, courier or truck availability and any remote-area or residential conditions before quoting.
What if my cargo is too large for a parcel courier?
Share each piece's dimensions, weight and packaging, plus the destination's unloading facilities. We assess truck or pallet options and confirm acceptance, delivery appointment and handling requirements before booking.
What do the ocean timing ranges mean?
These West Coast reference ranges start at actual vessel departure and end after US customs clearance, when cargo is handed to the express carrier. Final delivery and FBA receiving take additional time. Central and East Coast timing is quoted by destination.
